Adventure Sunday

Alex went to Science City today. We had so much fun digging for dinosaurs and seeing the trains. This is the second time in a row that we've gone and part of the Rail Experience was closed, but I don't think he noticed this time. There are so many fun things to do and learn there - I'm glad that Alex enjoys it so much. He fell asleep during the Planetarium show. At least he got some sort of nap in :)

Bad Parents

I know, I know... we've been awful lately. Okay- fine, for the past year. A great deal has happened since the last picture post and we are horribly bad parents for not updating more frequently. Our biggest problem has been that we don't have internet access on our pc at home, which is where we have our picture software. I guess I figured if we can't post pictures of Alex, there's really no point in posting. I'll try to figure out a way to get some more recent pictures up here. We've got some really good ones!

Alex has grown so much! He doesn't look like much of a baby anymore. Especially since we cut his hair for summer. He is talking all the time now, in both French & English. (For those of you who care, he's even code swiched a couple of times!! And he's not even 3!) He loves to play ball (Gidas & Papou are in town and just got him a basketball hoop) and cars & trains. He also likes to dance & ride his bike. He knows which stories he wants to read (Mommy does a better Thomas & Papa is better with the Pirates :) He's extremely polite, and eats just about everything. (I know, we can't figure out how that happened!)

We've had a busy couple of weeks. Gidas & Papou got into town last weekend, so Alex has had a blast playing with them. They've gone to visit New York and Washington D.C. this week, so Alex has been searching the house for them. They'll be back Sunday, so he is looking forward to having his play pals back soon.

Look Daddy, they're just my size!

Wow! He's soft!

Look Papou, I fell down and got scratches. I'm a big boy now!

My very own swing!

I'm keeping these two for me!

Look I found one! Do you want it Grandma?

Shhh.... I'm hunting Easter Eggs!

Swings are fun! Give me another push Mom!
